As you can already see, my name is Alyssa Rivera and I am 24 years old. I was born and sorta raised in Houston, Texas. I moved around a lot in the States before officially moving to the Philippines for 8 years. After graduating high school, I moved back to Houston for college where I attended the University of Houston.

I am a very well-rounded, kind of gal. I am extremely outgoing, (at least that's what I like to tell myself) and very down-to-earth. I can be quiet at first but don't judge me for it (I am told that I have RBF). I love to travel and explore small towns, villages, and cities. I have flown, sailed, and driven all over.

I am on Couchsurfing because one of my biggest regrets is that I did not get to travel as much as I wanted during and after college before acquiring my "big girl" 8-5 job. I am looking to meet and interact with all kinds of worldly people of a variety of cultures...but on a budget, as well.
