About Me
I will be spending a few months travelling across the US with my husband. I have lived in the Carolinas for the past 7 years and am excited to explore new places. We are friendly and tidy guests and are happy to help with cooking and cleaning!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently not able to host since I am wandering the country for a bit, but I hope to become a host when we have a new place to settle down! My husband, Nate (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/nathaniel-simmons), and I are about to embark on a road trip across the US and parts of Canada/Mexico. We are looking for places to stay between camping/backpacking trips and visiting friends and family. We love meeting new people and learning about places from the perspective of a local.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked as an AmeriCorps volunteer for 2 years in Asheville, NC. I taught elementary students in Niger, West Africa after college. Swam on the volcanic beaches of Monserrat.
Teach, Learn, Share
Love to learn new languages and arts.
Love to share ideas and hear other perspectives on life, religion, history, etc. Openness and communication is how we learn from each other.
Not sure what I can teach well, but I can dabble in knitting, baking, and used to teach soft skills/career readiness to students ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to cook or bake for you!!
