I am couchsurfing because I want to be able to fully immerse myself into the culture that I am going to be visiting. There is no better way to learn about a culture than directly from the people themselves. I would rather have a meal with someone than sit in my hotel/hostel at night. I hope to meet new people and maybe be able to host people when I return home.

My favorite movies are Breakfast Club, Perks of Being a Wallflower, and He's Just Not That Into You.
I don't have a specific favorite book, but I love reading in general.

One amazing thing that I have done is what I am currently doing! I am studying abroad in Lithuania. This has been one of the most crazy, amazing, and educational life changes that I have done. Coming from southern California I have never had different seasons or lived in the snow. Since coming here I have been able to do both. This experience has also allowed me to understand a whole new culture as well as live in a country that speaks a different language as my own.
