Overview
About Me
I am a 19 year old student currently studying abroad in Bordeaux, France. I am working on a double major in French and Biology at University of California, Davis.
Ever since I was little, I have loved reading as it gave me the ability to explore new places when I couldn't travel. Now that I am older and traveling is a little easier, I can finally go explore all the places I read about when I was young!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because it is an easy way to meet new people and an awesome way to meet locals! I am a firm believer in immersing yourself in the culture of any place you visit, and Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do it.
Interests
I like to run, hike, read, travel, and explore. I am also fascinated by languages, particularly the development of language in children and would love to someday be able to use my biology degree to further research in that field.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Something that I have just done recently was hiking in the Pyrénées! I am a big fan of nature and hiking, and the hike we did was absolutely breath-taking. Other than that, I would say stepping outside of my comfort zone and traveling to Europe alone would be the amazing thing I've done. It may seem small to some people, but it is a big accomplishment to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people some French and a very little Portuguese! One of my favorite memories of being in France so far is going with my friend to buy a bicycle off of Le Bon Coin. Both of us were a little nervous about speaking French & being able to understand what the sellers were saying, but we ended up hitting it off with the family and staying at their house for almost two hours just talking! So, I hope with Couchsurfing, I will be able to share more good memories like this one!
