About Me

I've been traveling around Europe since September and will be here until January. I quit my job in America to do some traveling and have loved every minute of it! I went to culinary school and hope to do something with my baking degree soon. I'm very easy going and get along with just about anyone. I'm always up for an adventure, exploring a new city and trying new food but I also like to just hang out and relax with a good book and a cup of tea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done Workaway and stayed in hostels and people I've met have had wonderful things to say about couchsurfing. I think it's a great way to meet new people and to get a "real" experience of the town

Interests

I love to cook, bake, read, write, crochet, chat, go for walks and explore my surroundings.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely LOVE music AND films AND books! I'm usually reading a few books at a time and always have a stack next to my bed. I can't go into a book store without buying at least one book. It would be a lot easier for me while traveling to have a kindle or something but I love the feel and smell of books so I will never switch to electronic ones! I've been really into mystery novels lately and I've been trying to read some "classics" like Hemingway and Steinbeck.

My favorite movie of all time is Ace Ventura (both of them). I love comedies and thrillers (but not scary movies). Action films are only good at the cinema and I'm always up for a romantic comedy.

I listen to music as much as possible. I love live music and going to concerts. Mumford and Sons is my favorite band but I like loads of others too. I grew up listening to classic 70's and 80's rock. I like some pop but only for a little while. I'd rather listen to indie or alternative music. Anything with a good beat and creative lyrics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess selling all my belongings and leaving the only home I've ever known to travel around Europe is the most amazing thing I've done so far. I plan on doing some more amazing things with my life though; I'm not done yet!
