About Me
Hi! I am a Salt Lake twenty-something who has a case of the travel bug. The mountains and desert around here have my heart, so I can never stay away too long. I have been involved in the alternative scene here in Salt Lake for a while, which includes a lot of local shows, rallies, potlucks, cuddle puddles, good conversations, and teaching each other life skills that we all benefit from. I lived at a house called the Boing! Anarchist Collective until recently, and it is where I found out about couchsurfing. We always had guests coming through from all around the world, and being a place for them to call home, even if just for a night, was really satisfying, and made my heart warm.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I very much feel like you get a much more genuine and cultural experience when you are hanging out with the locals. I am always amazed by the different connections you can share with people from a completely different background than you.
Interests
You can find me anywhere from hiding out alone in the mountains, to joining in on big group bike rides, and dressing up for dance parties. I like to make crafts, specifically jewelry and costumes. I love feeding my friends when I can!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I am very open to most music, but I have been trending towards music that sounds really dreamy, girls with pretty voices, and phychedelic rock. Some favorites right now are Goat, Warpaint, Sylvan Esso, and CocoRosie.
Movies: I usually enjoy indie movies and documentaries. Some favorites are Amelie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Darjeeling Limited, and Everything is Illuminated.
Books: I like books that have a good story, but also make you think. Some favorites are The Stranger by Albert Camus, Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, and House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the things I take most pride in is my work at Ching Farm Animal Sanctuary. I volunteered on the farm for years feeding the animals and making sure they all had water. My sister and I also raised money for the farm by having countless bake sales, and making the vegan desserts for all of their events.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to eat for free out of the dumpster or how to make vegan food. I would love to learn anything about your city or culture that makes it very much its own. I can share stories of my travels.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook you a mean breakfast!!
