About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To bring light and fun into the lives of others, usually by sharing a good laugh.
ABOUT ME
I am currently studying abroad in Plymouth, England at the moment and am trying to use this opportunity to travel and experience as many people and places as I can.
Above all, I feel the most happy and content when I am around people who bring out the playful, young, carefree side of myself. In turn, I try to bring this out in others as well.
The downright honest truth has seriously saved my ass on more than one occasion.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is way too short to take anything too serious for too long. I have been through some intense truama in my life, as I am sure we all have at some point or another, and I decided a long time ago that life is a precious gift worth living. So just live!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed before and hope to be a frequent host in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couch surfing experience was absolutely amazing and almost hard to put into words. I was in Amsterdam, a beautiful place in itself and my host was just as beautiful and warm. My friend and I felt comfortable from the get go. Our host was willing to show us around and also encouraged us to explore on our own, providing us with bikes and advise on where to peruse. I can honestly say that I had not one unpleasant experience the whole five days I was there.
Interests
Hmmmm, well, usaully anything that requires movement interests me. I like to run, hike, bike, swim, dance, climb trees, climb mountains, climb people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
OK, so standing on a rooftop in the middle of Amsterdam, on New Years with a good friend, with fireworks exploding 360 degrees all around us wasn't a bad time at all.
Further more, I grew up in Asheville, a magical little place in the mountains, and I have stood on the top of giant quartz boulders after hours of hiking, to gaze over an endless view of sky, trees, and earth. I am grateful to say that I have lost track of the number of times the beauty of my home has taken my breath away.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have tried to surround myself with tools to relax, slow down, and be present with myself and for others. I like to meditate, do yoga, breath... and I really enjoy helping others to be present as well. I would also like to learn how others find time for themselves in this world and in general would like to learn from other's experiences. I think that is what CS is all about!
