Overview
About Me
I’m a student at Portland State University studying Environmental Science. This summer, I'm embarking on a road trip from Portland to San Francisco to Los Angeles and will be taking sketch comedy writing classes at UCB down in LA through August.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet awesome people that don't believe in individualism and neoliberal economics. I am proud to be a millennial; many of us see that these narratives are living myths and opt to help one another our and create community instead. Couchsurfing is one place these values manifest.
Interests
I love to dance – especially hip-hop. I have an expansive music collection, which consists primarily of American artists. I’m traveling with my entire music library if you are interested in sharing music.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as literature goes, I owe my identity to feminist discourse (shout out to Carol Gilligan, Simone De Beauvoir and bell hooks). I enjoy reading books on social theory, my favorites are The Pasteurization of France by Bruno Latour, essays on leisure and ethics and ethnographic autobiographies.
Favorite musicians include: Kendrick Lamar, David Bowie, ABBA, New Order, The Kinks, Beyoncé, Talking Heads, Disclosure, Crystal Castles and Miles Davis.
My favorite French film is Le Roi et l'Oiseau by Paul Grimault. I’m interested in exploring avant-garde French cinema but it has been difficult to come by in the United States.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Disrupting sexist thinking and actions on the daily.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help people improve their English or French speaking skills. I also love to cook and would enjoy helping my host make food.
I have an external hard drive with my music library and many of my favorite films, so I am happy to share music and films.
