ABOUT ME

I try my best to not be THAT American. I don't like the stereotype that we're all the same breed of ignoramus. That's why I up and left the States and moved to Florence for study at my first opportunity. I love to travel and I want to try my best to see and understand cities the way the locals do. I want to love every part of the world like the people who choose to live there love it.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like at some point I'll probably settle down somewhere lovely. But, for now, I can't settle down. I have to keep moving and seeing and discovering and meeting. Besides, how will I know where to settle when I'm older if I don't try it out today?

I'm dorming so I can't offer a place to stay, but I love travelling and would love to meet CS-ers in other countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just surfing. I found out about it and was a little skeptical until a friend of mine tried it himself. I was sold. It was a blast.

Interests

I love to travel and to go out and experience things that nobody else has even heard of. I like finding little hole-in-the-wall cafes with lovely owners who will share their life stories with you. I love meeting artists and spotting their work in the city. I love meeting people who've got amazing stories to tell. I love telling my own embarrassing stories. I love living.

I got lost in Florence my first week living here. It was pouring rain. I was completely soaked, but the city was absolutely lovely in the rain.
