Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to baske in experience and lick my fingers in savory delight
ABOUT ME
i'm your average artsy-tartsy fly-by-the-seat-of-my-yoga-pants kinda gal. i'm not keen on describing myself without the use of puppets and props; you'll just have to meet me. things i can't breathe without: my family, my best friends, travel, music, art, books, the great outdoors, laughter & silliness. also, i'm big on making random lists of things. if ya need more info, go to my seldom-used myspace or often-used facebook (yeah, i'm a little cyber-fly).
PHILOSOPHY
"When you come to the fork in the road, take it." -Yogi Bera
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I talk about it and spread the word about the sofa sweetness of travel to anyone who will listen. I've referred many a traveler unawares. I host. I partake in groups. I cruise CS parties for the surfer with the most embarrassing travel stories. I post and verify and give feedback...alotta feedback. I'm also a great tour guide to curious visitors.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i've hosted, i've surfed, i've partaken in the groups, i've attended the local soirees, and i've gone for that coffee/drink (well, multi-drinks)...and i love it all. I'm a CS-er for life and am committed to keep it going strong. It seems to perfectly encapsulate what i think life is all about.

Music, Movies, and Books
Loads of nonfiction. I'm the eternal student. I like sociological or economic studies, uncovered conspiracies, books on philosophy, spiritualities, travelogues & travel writing, metaphysics, yada yada. Love Ram Dass, Wayne Dyer, Dan Millman, Elizabeth Gilbert, Herman Wouk, Paulo Coehlo, Kurt Vonnegut, Ariel Gore, Dan Brown, and of course the Greats: Emerson, Rilke, Bukowski, Whitman, Poe, Ginsberg, Alan Watts, Dorothy Parker....ah these list could take weeks. I may as well spend the time reading.
