Follow Me Along the Sea: a 1500 mile music-tour-by-bicycle from Seattle, WA to Long Beach, CA!

ABOUT ME

I'm a singer, a songwriter, an artist, poet, event-planner and a big dreamer. Right now the big dream is to do a 1500 mile music-tour-by-bicycle from Seattle, WA, down the Pacific Coast home to Long Beach, CA. We'll be cycling 40-70 miles a day. I'm bringing a Baby Taylor guitar and I've booked shows in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Santa Paula and then a big homecoming show in Long Beach.

I'll be traveling with friends, Sarah Rosenberger, Dustin Nothem, Chad Sheby, Tyler Maughmer and Toren Wallace. We're a loving group of friendly faces who are excited about this adventure. It's been really wonderful to plan this adventure with such a wonderful group of well-grounded, easy going, supportive, helpful and open-minded individuals. Tyler's also a musician and is bringing his guitar, too. Sarah and Dustin are surfers and nature enthusiasts, Chad is a bike mechanic and Toren is a poet.

So far, my participation has only been on the surfer level. I live with my parents at the moment, and haven't been able to host, but would very much like to, someday.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've put together two Vaudeville Spectaculars at the Art Theatre in Long Beach. These were both album release shows, in which instead of filling a headliner slot, I invited 7-8 bands to perform 15 minute sets in the orchestra pit of the art deco style movie theater, with movies playing in the background, or belly dancers, or tap dancers, or burlesque. In between each act was a poet or theatrical performance, and all the while there was a live painter on stage. Despite being a complicated show to put together with so many fast changes, it was pretty amazing to see all of the people the inspire me showcased at such nice theater, for the whole community to see. Everyone left inspired.
