About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to share love and light- the power of positivity
ABOUT ME
The more time I'm outside the happier I am.
Climbing, Slacklining, Yoga, Kayaking, Skydiving, Caving, Canyoneering, Hiking, Surfing...whatever else you can think of.
Although this is essentially who I am in a nutshell, I guess it might be better to warn you a bit of my makeup before I jump into your couch and camp out for a few days. I find conversation to be one of the most enlightening paths to know someone, and rather enjoy my chats if you'll sit a moment with me. If you want we can speak of whatever you like- I am a big fan of philosophy (any type because everything has a philosophy behind it) however, if you arent up for it, or just arent too chatty I can easily just smile and enjoy the company. I'm also somewhat of a storyteller, it seems that I end up telling stories to make you laugh or think. When I surf (and soon, when I host) I intend to get to know my host/surfer. I think its important, and really in doing so I have made some of the greatest friends along the way.
You can call me whatever you may like but just know the basics: I like food, tea and talking. I will eventually get lost in your city or the woods behind you house. I am not looking to sight see but I will spend a day wandering through the street to see what I want to see. I am easy to amuse and easier to please. I am happy with whatever, what little, is offered, if anything at all. I dont mind helping (in fact I prefer it) and I tend to become comfortable rather quickly- if you want I would love to cook with you as well, its kind of my thing-to-do with hosts/surfers
PHILOSOPHY
Happiness rules the heart.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Occupying your couch, of course
But of course, there is more to CS than just the surfing aspect. I love to meet up with whoever may be down to slackline or climb, grab some beers or just chill and chat.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My experience...hmm, that is kind of a hard one. Each city and each person has given me something completely different. Whether it was getting ice cream and pedaling the waterlands north of Amsterdam with my wonderful german host, or being shown the greatest little secrets of swedish forests by my host there, they have all been so positive. For me, CS has been one of the most eye opening platforms- not because it changed my view of life, but it showed me that other people have my same view. It is possible to help one and another without the inherent need of something in return...essentially what I have gotten and given are the most valuable anyways, that is, friendships and concrete memories that will never leave my winding nostalgia. I cant wait to continue finding friends all over the world with the help of CS
