About Me

I'm an American who values traveling and new experiences! I am located in Asheville, NC, work remotely, make ceramic art, rock climb, hike, and more! I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. I have always had a passion to travel, so I try to take a trip any chance I get.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found Couchsurfing when I was backpacking in Europe because it helped me connect with locals and travelers to explore the city together. I got to make new friends and suddenly traveling alone wasn't lonely. I always come here when I travel to meet new people while abroad.

Interests

Travel, pottery/craft and music among other things. When I'm not traveling, I'm throwing pots, going to concerts, and cooking. I enjoy good company over drinks, good conversation and maybe games. When I go out, I'm more of a bar-fly than a club-goer, but enjoy that too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to rock, alternative, and metal mostly, but sometimes other things like indie or bluegrass. To name a few, I love Alex G, Petey, The National, Between the Buried and Me, Manchester Orchestra, Jeff Buckley, Andrew Bird, La Dispute, Radiohead, St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens, Joanna Newsom, and more!

I'm also really into fantasy, like Lord of the Rings. I'm currently reading The King Killer Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked through Europe by myself for 6 months in 2016.

Teach, Learn, Share

Let's cook together! I have a few recipes up my sleeve, but I love experimenting.

Also, in between the "excitement" and "adventure," I love thought-provoking discussions on philosophy, religion, music, politics, and life in general.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't offer a couch because my apartment is too small, but I can show you around and maybe even just grab a drink.

Countries I’ve Visited
