About Me

MOVED FROM CS TO BEWELCOME, WHICH IS STILL FREE - CONTACT ME THERE:
https://www.bewelcome.org/members/Am_itka
Explorer of conscious life, dialogical being and caring culture. Former literature translator, philologist. Advocate of regenerative culture, degrowth and universal basic income (UBI), caring for a deep reform of our society. I painfully realize the urgent need of our civilization to transform from today's unjust, productivistic, competitive, isolating and generally harming economical system into a solidary, inclusive, cooperative and caring one. I can share a lots of visions, facts, ideas and experience on the topic and willing to absorb yours.
And right now I'm also humbly recognizing after the last period of my life the need to transform myself again. Following this path with an open horizon. *~

NAME: I'm Jitka. When I try to introduce myself this way it makes people think that my name is Amitka. Which is fine :)

MY CURRENT MISSION:
Transformation once again. Traveling to South America with one-way ticket to meet the healing power of natural medicines, their wisdom and care which I have already experienced and I do trust it entirely.

Also: Spreading the idea of UBI (unconditional/universal basic income) and it's personal, social, ecological, emancipative, egalitarian, political and other benefitting effects it brings (as proved million times via plentiful global experiments) which I have been studying for more than ten years now.
If we ever want to truly set free for local good-life possibilities designed by ourselves, kindly cooperating and learning together, for ending the climate destruction, taking back our political voices and power to change things, this is the way to start: give people back both their responsibility and creativity and freedom to care.

ME RIGHT NOW: Learning again about my path in the inner and outer world. Healing from the feelings of insecurity and anxiety my society brings to the minds and lives of people which I had to experience in order to be compasisonate and understanding.

Infinitely prepared to honestly, thoughtfully and kindly interact and see what happens next on my way. And always connected to the magic spark and witt ;) *~

Life seems to develop in phases and periods. I already know how it tastes to live in a mode of constant inner peace and easiness, driven by deeply rooted curiosity, trust in heart, amazement and fascination, with no anxiety, doubts or tense, no feelings of insecurity, but I also know how easily it can turn anytime into the opposite when an old phase of life is ending and how it can let a person taste the "reality" from the other side, suddenly finding ourselves fragile and easy to hurt, lost in doubtful mind and deeply insecure. Knowing that is making me compassionate. Both the fragility and strength can take a million faces and shapes on the surface and there is always a lot to experience, embrace, discover, understand, accept and learn. Never judge. Life is indeed an extraordinary and tricky adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As said above about me living life in phases and periods, I also seem to be switching between several-year periods of hosting when living at my place and phases of independent travelling the globe asking for being hosted while learning new things.

I'm attracted to consciously living caring people, searching them activelly while both hosting and surfing.

I appreciate when I can get close, and all my life is safely and widely open for inspiration in reciprocity.

I tend to prefer hosting to surfing, only rarely I ask other people host me so please enjoy it when we can.

BEFORE SENDING ME A REQUEST please make sure you can express why you think it‘s a good idea for us to meet.

AND PLEASE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT that I can seriously consider only requests that come just few days or a week ahead. With no regular day- or week-schedule I can't really say 14 days or a month ahead whether I am really going to be able to host you or spend some time together.

Interests

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: Deepening my love and care, compassion, understanding, respect, humbleness and courage, developing and softening my skills to be a better human being, and getting the largre picture even larger.

YOGA: I do my private yoga and breathing more then 20 years now, and it's still a source of re-newing joy and awe and relaxation and tranquility. Helps me also in exploring lucid, altered and enlarged states of consciousness.

VEGAN: Deeply satisfied with being vegan. In love with raw-food and fasting too. 20 years of cooking healthy foods, freely based on macrobiotics, inspired by international couisines.

ART OF DIALOGICAL BEING: As a society we seem to have lost our trust, sense of togetherness and capability of living in the state of true dialogical being. My soul is craving for that and so I’m trying to rediscover this magical state of respectful and creative dance with others.

POWERFUL NATURAL HEALING MEDICINES: I trust, respect, explore and learn. This is one of the reasons why I travel to South America.

HORSES: I also embrace every opportunity to spend some time with horses, learning a lot from them, for these fine creatures are highly sensitive to the slightest sign of tension in your body and mind, and to every aspect of absent-mindness, so they bring you to train constantly to become truly and absolutely present-minded with them, and also trusting, relaxed, calm, collect, self-possessed, respectful, considering and widely conscious in general to make yourself a desired, reliable and easy-to-read partner for them in every moment and every possible situation. It‘s a great training for life and it just feels like a miracle whenever horses show you that they love, honor, trust and enjoy your presence and participation.

UBI: Over the last years (with the massive increase of economical pressures on people, with all the rapidly progressing destruction of nature and natural sources brought in by the wild and absurd productivism making a commodity from all and everything, including the basic needs, services and human rights, people's life-time, energy and potential, making half of the planet a garbage dump, with the terribly evolving climate change and huge and immoral externalization of the necessary social and human care) I became a serious propagator of various de-growth based economical models, and among all of the widely transforming bright and bold idea of unconditional basic income (UBI) as a key tool for building a solidary society from the grass-roots level, when people would not be pushed by force (of financial laws and corporate and political lobbies) to sell themselves for existential reasons, out of the tension and anxiety, to compete with each other and fight - but could be deciding and safely trying for themselves what is really good for them and joining powers and talents to achieve it.

MOVIE CLUB: I appreciate great movies as a part of global societal dialogue. I usually visit most of the international festivals' Prague screenings, study the programs, sellect the promising movies, track the independent directors, watch the movies, write about them, make my friends see the best ones or at least report them about those vividly. I love to organize private film festivals at our place, just for my flatmates and friends, members of our Collective or friends of friends. I love to create fascinating movies combinations. We can spend days and nights with such movie marathons and discussions during hollidays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what can be amazing for others, but at least I can mention here what made me amazed about my life when it happened (not that I have done it, but rather experienced).

2014 Stopped working for money at all, started to do only caring work from my heart. Sometimes it is super-easy, sometimes super-hard and I'm still discovering where it leads, learning my lessons on the way.

2013 Left Europe with my two closest companions in life, living one year together first by the ocean in a little fishermen village in South India and then in Himalayas in Nepal. Taking all the time just to get some deeper understanding what life is and what people do.

2012 Staying 4 months in a complete solitude, away from people and all the inhuman pressures and lifeless activities, alone on a cottage in the old Celtic woods, living just from breathing air and receiving energy from sun, caressed and led by nature, grass and trees and herbs and plants. I got some glimps of understanding there, still so much waits ahead. Life itself is amazing and good.

2008 Being on my own with only one other guy in empty Mongolian wild landscape for 20 days, in uneasy conditions of upcoming winter. A mind reflecting in the open empty landscape, unbreakable, visible solitude, clear being-thinking-creating the substance of life.
