About Me
Hello! I am Ama and I'm Namibian British. I was born in Namibia and however moved to Ethiopia & South Africa in my childhood and the UK for university and work. I currently live in London and am a physiotherapist with a specialist interest in neurology (brain & spinal cord injuries). I love meeting new people, dancing, music, exploring, museums, art, food - you name it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently on a career break and embarking on solo travel. I am hoping to meet new people & gain invaluable experiences in different countries and feel this is the best community to do so!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - just about everything! I range from hip hop to kizomba to Damara punch to RnB. I love rhythm and dancing.
Movies - I haven't watched one in ages but a good classic is the Gladiator. Love action/horror/thriller
Books - my favourite books from last year (2023) was The Island of Missing Trees and Homegoing. I love reading and am always looking for more recommendations!
