ABOUT ME

I grew up in a very diverse small town, I spent my college years learning the Spanish language and culture, and I discovered my passion when I spent a semester in Spain during my undergrad. I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live? I try to keep an open mind and an open heart. I strive to demonstrate respect towards myself, towards others, and towards the world around me. I believe there is so much one can learn from experience and from conversations.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to lend my couch to travelers passing by in hopes of meeting a new friend and learning about someone else, their life, travels, and culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a newbie, having only surfed the couches of family and friends thus far. I have lived with families in Mexico and Spain, however, and I LOVED it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked Europe solo. I've seen the sun rise over La Alhambra, and over the Atlantic Ocean. I've climbed the pyramids at Teotihuacan and the steps of the Statue of Liberty.

I've drunk Tequila in Tequila (Mexico), Rioja wine in the Rioja region (Spain), Jerez in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain) and Port in Porto (Portugal).

I've seen Les Miserables on Broadway and Ballet Folklorico in the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico, DF.

I love seeing and doing, and I love listening to and telling stories afterwards.
