About Me

Picture this: an Indian wanderer, heart full of curiosity, finding himself in the charming streets of Lille on a semester exchange. That's me! A storyteller at heart, I thrive on conversations that range from the whimsical to the profound. I'm the type who gets lost in a new city, not because I'm bad with directions, but because I believe the best discoveries are unplanned.

Life, to me, is an adventure waiting to unfold — and I'm always eager to turn the page. I’m on a mission to explore new places, savor new experiences, and meet people who, like me, have stories to tell and passions to share. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m all about embracing differences and finding the magic in diversity.

So, if you're someone who loves a good laugh, a deep chat, or a spontaneous adventure, let’s connect. After all, life’s too short to stay in our comfort zones!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I believe that the best parts of any journey are the unexpected connections and the stories we create along the way. Sure, I could stick to guidebooks and tourist spots, but I’m looking for something far more authentic — the kind of experience you only get when you share a meal with locals, swap stories with fellow travelers, or wander through a city guided by the wisdom of those who call it home.

I want to meet people who think outside the box, who are passionate about their corner of the world, and who believe that every stranger is just a friend waiting to be met. I’m here to be inspired by new perspectives, to exchange cultures, and to leave every place a little more enriched than when I found it.

If you’re someone who loves hosting with an open heart and a thirst for meaningful connections, then let's create some unforgettable memories together!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a deep love for Bollywood music — it's like a soundtrack to life itself. Whether it's the timeless classics of AR Rahman or the foot-tapping beats of today's chart-toppers, there's a song for every mood, moment, and memory. I enjoy everything from the soulful ballads that stir emotions to the dance numbers that make you want to break out in spontaneous moves. Bollywood music is my go-to, whether I’m celebrating, unwinding, or just in need of a little background drama!

When it comes to movies and TV shows, I’m all about "How I Met Your Mother" and "Schitt’s Creek." I mean, who doesn't love a good dose of Ted's hopeless romanticism or David and Moira’s fabulous wit? I’m a sucker for shows that make me laugh out loud and feel a little less alone in the world.

As for books, The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank is one that has stayed with me — it’s a powerful reminder of resilience and hope even in the darkest of times. I’m always on the lookout for stories that touch the heart and make me see the world a bit differently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After a heavy downpour in the hills of Kasol, I decided to embark on a trek that turned into an experience I'll never forget. The rain had left the trails glistening, the air crisp and alive with the scent of pine. As I climbed higher, the clouds began to drift around me like a soft, misty embrace, revealing glimpses of the majestic mountains that seemed to touch the sky. Every turn offered a new postcard-worthy view — valleys drenched in green, waterfalls roaring with newfound life, and the sun playing hide-and-seek behind the clouds.

The world felt like it was unfolding just for me, a reminder of nature’s beauty in its rawest form. I remember reaching a viewpoint where the clouds parted just enough to reveal the valley below — a sight so breathtaking that it felt like standing at the edge of a dream. That trek taught me to embrace the unpredictable, to find beauty in the unexpected, and to always keep moving forward, no matter how foggy the path might be.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’ve got a treasure trove of stories to share, from the vibrant chaos of Indian street markets to the magic of misty mountain treks after a monsoon (Kasol, anyone?). I love diving deep into conversations about Indian culture and heritage — everything from the colorful festivals that light up our cities to the secrets behind a perfect cup of chai. And, of course, I’m always up for a good laugh, so expect plenty of travel mishaps, life’s quirky lessons, and perhaps a bit of light-hearted trauma dumping over coffee or vodka!

In return, I'm here to learn from the world around me. I want to embrace the new and the unexpected — whether it’s discovering local traditions, trying my hand at a unique recipe, or simply learning a new way to see the world. I’m all ears for your stories, your passions, and the little things that make your world special. Let’s swap perspectives, share some laughs, and enrich our journeys with every encounter.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m always up for sharing a slice of my world with anyone who’s curious! I can bring a little bit of India to your doorstep — from tales of colorful festivals and street food adventures to the hidden gems of Bollywood music that will have you humming along in no time. I’d love to teach you some Hindi slang, cook up a pot of masala chai, or share the art of a good old Indian head massage (trust me, it’s an experience!).

Most importantly, I hope to create a space where we can learn from each other, share new perspectives, and enjoy those spontaneous moments that make every encounter unique. Let’s connect over our common loves, explore our differences, and make some unforgettable memories!
