ABOUT ME

Born and bred Kiwi, I've studied and am about to finish so it's time to go on my OE!

I've been travelling for about a month now and have loved meeting so many new people. I've always liked a bit of history so like to learn a bit about each city and when I was little I wanted to be an architect (as well as a ballet dancer, and a forestry manager) so love seeing all the old architecture, it's so different from NZ where the oldest building is about 150 years old.

I like experiencing things a bit more on the local side , also if this involves going to bars where the locals hang out instead of tourists it's the best!

PHILOSOPHY

I just love to enjoy myself, but I have this annoying sensible side that always pops out from inside of me. Something new is always of interest to me (unless it's spicy food).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't had much experience with Couchsurfing but now I'm travelling I think that when I go home I'll miss meeting new people so I'm going to definitely make my couch available! For now I'm in Europe for a few months so I'll be looking to stay with people.

Playing tennis, kind of golf. Watching rugby (can't believe I'm missing the World Cup in NZ!). Playing poker. Having a casual drink that turns into a big night. Going to music festivals/gigs and orchestras, choirs and ballets. Sitting in a park reading. The BEACH!! Love playing with animals and babies

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like Jodie Picolt books, Harry Potter, crime mysteries, a bit of trashy chick lit easy reading. Music wise I'm quite main stream, I generally follow the current popular music radio channel at the time, though I have my favourites like Red Hot Chilies, Kings of Leon, Katy Perry, Kids of 88. Movies is a hard one because there are so many! Anything with Colin Firth, Judi Dench, Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Kirsten Dunst and Drew Barrymore in it.

Hmmm. Bunjy jumping was pretty fun. But lately being at a water fight in the village of Manarola in Cinque Terre was the coolest thing I've done in a while

I think I'm more of a listening person when it comes to knowledgeable conversations, but I will tell you about how awesome New Zealand is!
