About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Improve the living conditions of those around me to make sure live in a better world.

ABOUT ME

I am a young guy ambitious and completely aimed at improving the quality of life of the communities to which I belong. I like to participate in some volunteer foundations and I have facilities to link with people who share these principles of collaboration with group purposes. Obviously I like to travel and one of the most important things during those trips it is to know new people. I really enjoy music, painting, beautiful landscapes and outdoor sports.

PHILOSOPHY

We can do what we want, when we want, where we want, if we really put effort into it. Our duty is to work with people who need it most, not as a way to feel better about yourself, but as a social commitment. And sooner or later, whether we like it or not, we return to a system of local trade.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My contribution to the project so far has been collaborating in the organization of meetings for townsfolk and tourists, explaining the history and traditions of our country. During my travels outside Chile I try to show our culture through food (such as pisco sour, empanadas, ceviche, etc.).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing has helped me to know other places without moving from the city, meet people from the same city and other cities too, but the most important thing is to find wonderfully different people with very similar tastes to mine and others less so, and always enjoy life in harmony with all of them. Actually the world seems smaller now I know this group. Now I think more on the goodwill of people, I have more confidence, more friends and less prejudice. I realize that everything much thought to know other cultures was not true and what I know now, though little, I'm sure it's true and first source. And this is just the beginning.

Interests

Conocer lugares y su gente, crear lazos de amistad con personas de otra culturas y lograr objetivos sociales en comun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

My teachings: work hard. Not for money. Only for your needs. Control your needs. We got only one world to share. You only have two feets, so you only need one pair of shoes. Respect the differences. We are all different and that makes us special.
My learnings: I have to be more tender with my mother. Never say how much I love her. And I have to spend more time with my family and stop travelling for a while.
My Share: of course, my beautiful country, there is a place called paradise on earth, also called Chile. I hope, to the good for humanity, that every single person have the chance to visit the end of the world as we know it until the big industries becoming it into a good remember.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hundreds of stories to tell, a good example of Chilean gastronomy, music and dances. But above all, the security of a good time and share the desires and future projects with a different vision that I have now. I hope that somehow my host produces an influence on my thinking.
