About Me
CURRENT MISSION
learn to fly by April 2014
ABOUT ME
I'm a fledgling writer who is hanging out for the time being in Barcelona. I don't quite know what I'm doing here, but it's a great place to not know what you're doing. I love clothes. I lost my luggage on my first day here (only because I'm a very forgetful person), so I don't have as many clothes as I should. Luckily, I also love shopping.
PHILOSOPHY
It's good to be lost in the present.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'll show you around. I'll follow you around.
I'm very good at wandering, and often do it with the couchsurfers I meet. I try to find local events to attend daily, and am quick to invite any CSer to come along!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Meeting with strangers I meet over the internet.
Interests
While in Barcelona, I spend much of my time going to art galleries, hiking Mont-juic (20 minutes from my apartment), walking the streets of L'Eixample, staring creepily at pretty buildings, and trying my best to keep up. I visit vintage stores. I also go to cheap concerts every couple of weeks or so.

Music, Movies, and Books
Television: Black Mirror, Sherlock, The Good Wife.
Authors: Mikhail Bulgakov, Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood, Kirino Natsuo, Knut Hamsun.
The first concert I went to while I was in Barcelona was The Mountain Goats. John Darnielle's hair was amazing.
Some of my favorite films of the year are What Maisie Knew, Blue is the Loveliest Color, and Frances Ha. My favorite Christmas film is Die Hard.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've jumped off the top of a building. And lived.
I did sprain my ankle.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can workshop creative pieces together. For some reason, I'm very good at critiques.
