About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get re-settled back home, for a while.
ABOUT ME
I've lived a lot of life already. I'm an artist/musician. I'm a smartass but also a bit too serious sometimes. Not much of a partying type, though the people I met in Amsterdam would say differently. To my surprise, it's seems that I'm very southern with my manners and gentlemanly ways. I try to find the good and interesting aspects of everything and everyone. And I only have one thumb, it's on my right hand and I love that.
PHILOSOPHY
If I wasn´t born with all the medical problems I had (VACTERL) then I wouldn´t be getting money from my government (MEDICARE) and so I couldn´t be where I am now (EUROPE). Moral of story: Everything is either a lesson or a blessing but usually it´s both.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By telling everyone I know about how AWESOME couch surfing is!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have done loads of couch surfing since arrriving in Europe six months ago. I can´t even begin to tell you what an amazing experience it has been. Not one bad meeting, everyone has been great!
Interests
Art, music, movies, books and loads of conversation over coffee or a good cup of tea with milkand sugar. I'm not so much interested in the boringness of polite chit-chat. Sorry.

Music, Movies, and Books
Star Wars is a must in my family. Really, anything that comes in the form of a trilogy. My passion is music, listening and writing. Bands include Jawbreaker, Elliott Smith, Juliana Hatfield, Face To Face, The Beatles, Jesus and Mary Chain, Strung Out, The Cure, Jets To Brazil, Idlewild. I could go on and on, but I won't. I'm just now getting into reading (a little late I know) so my list is very short. I'm into books about dramatic change and the ever frustrating act of opening the door to self-awareness. Plus, David Sedaris is the funniest writer I´ve found yet. Read him!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Survived 60 operations before hitting puberty. Died and then came back to life (a couple times) but I was to young and I don´t really remember how truly amazing it probably was. Damn my bad memory.
Teach, Learn, Share
So far, everything has come together for me, to be honest. I haven't had a bad experience yet. I've only been gone for a few months so I'm sure something (if not somethings) will eventually go wrong. I've found that it takes a couple of days of being in a new city, at a new hostel, before I start meeting people and feel like there's more than sights to see and more of a reason to stay a little longer.
