ME GUSTARÍA QUE LA GENTE QUE VENGA A MI CASA ESTÉ INTERESADA EN APRENDER Y EN QUEDARSE UN TIEMPO PARA APRENDER ALGO DE NOSOTROS Y COMPARTIR, YA QUE MI CASA NO ES UN SITIO TURÍSTICO NI UN HOSTAL.

Soy de la etnia Tikuna del Amazonas y crecí en la Comunidad Multiétnica del Takana. Vivo a 1 horas de Leticia cerca del río Takana. Estoy creando un proyecto para poder intercambiar conocimientos, aprender lenguas y compartir con los viajeros para que conozcan mi cultura y el lugar donde vivo.

Una de mis grandes metas es poder aumentar más mi conocimiento sobre las plantas, principalmente, y la naturaleza de donde vivo en general. Ojalá algún día estudie Biología y/o Etnobotánica. Empecé aprendiendo nuestro conocimiento ancestral indígena con mi familia y los abuelos. Pero recientemente he trabajado en Ecoparques del Amazonas con biólogos e investigadores colaborando en estudios sobre los cambios en los ecosistemas, sobre el suelo amazónico y sus capas, y la fauna y flora local.

También conozco la selva y soy guía turístico.

I'D LIKE THAT THE PEOPLE COMING TO MY HOUSE ARE INTERESTED IN LEARNING AND WANT TO STAY FOR SOME TIME TO LEARN SOMETHING FROM US AND SHARE, AS MY HOUSE IS NOT A TOURISTIC PLACE OR A HOSTEL.

I come from the Tikuna ethnic group of the Amazon and I grew up in the Multiethnic Community of Takana. I live 3 hours away from Leticia, close to the Takana River. I'm starting my new project based on knowledge exchange, to learn different languages and to share with the travellers so they learn about my culture and the place where I live.

My main goal is to increase my knowledge on plants, mainly, and about the nature from where I live in general. Maybe one day I'll study Biology and Ethnobotany. I started to learn our indigenous ancient knowledge with my family and los abuelos (older people with the higher knowledge). But I've recently worked in Ecoparks in the Amazon with biologist and researchers collaborating in studies on changes in the ecosystems, about the amazonian ground, and the local fauna and flora.

I also know the forest and I'm a tourist guide.
