ABOUT ME

I love people, I love life, I love music, I love my friends and my family, and I would love to meet you!!!

But really...I'm 22 years old and I have big plans for my life. I love the rain. My backyard is a forest. Sitting outside on my hammock with a good book and fruit from my garden is one of my favorite activities. I'm a water baby. I love being in a pool or in the ocean, but I'm a terrible lap swimmer. I've traveled a lot in my life, and even though I love my home, I would rather be traveling. I'm a Unitarian Universalist. Maybe I can tell you about it someday.

I am really lucky to be surrounded by amazing family and friends. Watching these people live their lives inspires me to be better.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've actually only surfed in 2 cities: Amsterdam ad Brussels. I stopped by on the way back home from my semester abroad! I loved every bit of it!

Movies: Wes Anderson is where it's at - If you haven't seen Life Aquatic, The Royal Tenenbaums, or The Darjeeling Limited...do it. Eternal Sunshine of the the Spotless Mind, Everything is Illuminated, Y Tu Mama Tambien, The Motorcycle Diaries, Paris Je T'aime, Amelie, RUNNING WITH SCISSORS. I used to have an obsession with The Mummy movies and the Italian Job...I'm almost over it.

I can give you a music lesson! Maybe even a piano lesson! I can teach you some basic Arabic, tell you about Palestine, give you a quick lesson on invasive species, give you a hundred reasons why Louisiana is so great, and I would love to know what makes your home great too! I love languages, and if you are willing to teach me I would love to learn a bit of yours!
