ABOUT ME

I love to travel. I caught the travel bug two years ago and haven't stopped much since. I love learning new languages and using them whenever possible. At the moment I'm still working on French and have started learning German and Italian. I love reading, riding one of my two amazing bicycles, watering flowers, admiring butterflies, collecting stones and buttons, knitting socks and quilts, writing letters, looking at the stars, learning about music, listening to vinyl recordings, playing the cello, having a good cup of coffee or good glass of wine in the company of good friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Monticello, Corsica. The couple I stayed with who I met through another couchsurfer were lovely, welcoming and very happy to host us.

Interests

books - poetry, fiction, non fiction, canadian authors, dictionaries, art books, art magazines, exhibition catalouges - piano, cello, reading, writing, movies that are funny and interesting and weird, going to lots of different places, french, making things, sewing words, knitting socks, dogs, cats, trees especially willow, living by water, flowers and smelling them at every opportunity.
