ABOUT ME
I'm an American living in Yokohama and working as a Japanese-English translator. I've been studying Japanese for over 13 years; now that I've lived in Japan for a while, I feel like it's time to branch out. I started studying Mandarin, and I'm making an effort to travel more both within Asia and around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most exciting thing I've done recently was climb Mt. Ishizuchi, the tallest mountain in western Japan. In addition to the standard climbing path there is also a series of gigantic chains draped down the mountainside that you can climb up, with no harness or ropes or anything. Climbing link by link was exhilarating; the weather was perfect and the view from the top was incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I've got a lot more to learn before I'll have anything to teach anyone.
