I love to travel, explore new places, photograph, write and sketch. I'm also highly intelligent, and a true bibliophile. I enjoy nature, and unwinding over long and short trips with friends, good music, food, and drinks. I like meeting new and interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have left my job a few months ago to travel the world, and experience new cultures, meet new people, and just have amazing experiences. Unfortunately, I'm on less than a shoestring budget, so Couchsurfing it is. Plus, it's a great way to meet new people from all walks of life. I'm an amateur writer, and I'm trying to meet as many different types of people as I can. I love to hear people's stories and have interesting conversations.

Interests

I'm extremely passionate about so many things. I love music, of all kinds. I appreciate good design, and beauty whether it's a lovely building, a svelte car, a moving piece of art, dance, etc or just nature's raw majestic beauty. I love reading, be it theory on as varied topics as theoretical astrophysics, to the history of the human species, or fiction from fantasy/sci fi to graphic novels to political thrillers. I enjoy good movies, love playing and watching football and basketball or anything physical, swimming to table tennis. I enjoy travelling, hiking, photography, sketching, and writing.

Music - all genres, favourite is classic rock.
Movies - i make it a point to read up about a movie beforehand, so I know whether it's worth my time and money or not. I like to watch only good movies. Absolutely abhor trashy flicks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been teaching Architecture at Undergraduate level for the past 3 years. I have a good knowledge about the theory of many things, and have a good design aesthetic as well. I want to learn new languages, art forms, skills, musical instruments, cooking interesting recipes, and adventure activities. I can share thoughtful insights on a wide variety of topics, as I'm extremely well read, and very intelligent. Also humour, there will never be a dull moment around me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I speak excellent English, and Hindi. I am a professional Architect, so I'm quite good with anything creative, be it art, photography, filmography, music, computer softwares, design, theory. I'm also really good at building things with my hands, plus I have the background knowledge, so any construction projects are right up my alley too. I've also been an architecture professor for 3 years for undergraduate level, so I'm a very good teacher, right from toddlers and children to teens and adults. Everyday tasks that I can accomplish - cooking, cleaning, washing, curating, accounting, book-keeping, anything physical, etc.
