I live in Sabah, one of the two states in East Malaysia. It is also part of Borneo, the 3rd largest island in the world. If you like mountain climbing, beaches, sea sports, animals and nature, then you should visit Sabah. Sabah, also known as the "land below the wind" has a lot to offer to its explorers!

I am staying in a suburb area but is just about 8Km away from the city, Kota Kinabalu. I live very close to the airport, just about 10-15 minutes drive. I live with my husband and son. Hubby is a civil servant and my son is studying at a private university.

Life is a continuous learning process. I think the best way to handle life is to be humble and have a good sense of humor.

If you want people to respect you, then you have to treat people likewise. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, learn new cultures, languages and see beautiful sceneries. I also like visiting historical buildings, the Virgin Mary apparition places, strange and X-file places. I have great interest in learning the stories behind these places.

Savouring the local food and drinks is also a must-thing-to-do when I visit new places. Whether it is a simple local meal or a more complicated traditional food, I will enjoy them all. Just like pizza, a recipe for left-over food, they have stories of their own.

Intereses

I like to sweat under the sun by gardening and DIY home improvements. It is a great way to cut the bill.

My passion for DIY has brought me to two other interests: Sewing and Cooking. It is the indispensable skills for tight-budget living.

The love for reading has equipped me with a lot of knowledge and stirred in me the desire for traveling. One passion leads to another and that is why I am in CS.
