About Me
I love to travel. Plain and simple. And it’s a passionate affair, not hyperbole.I have always loved the adventure of travel — the unknown, something different, something new. And I feel the same way today… even though now the ‘next bend’ may be on another continent. I have been extremely lucky to continuously feed my passion and love of travel.. But, why do I love traveling so much? My friends say that I am a very funny and an interesting girl with a good sense of humor.lol. As soon as I meet new people who are happy to meet me, I feel extremely comfortable with them. I believe that friendship is one of the most important values in human life. We exchange new ideas, find many interesting things about each other and experience new things. I appreciate friendship and people who surround me. Meeting new people who support all my efforts to grow and develop my skills not only in the subjects but also in my hobbies gives me a lot of energy. Many of those friends who surround me now I met on the street while doing my hobby. I’m in love with photography, so the thing I love doing so much became even more enjoyable. I decided to take beautiful pictures of accidental people and share these photos with them by emails or in social media. I feel happiness inside seeing how happy they are looking at the pictures i snap.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Adapting to different lifestyles, homes, cultures and traditions will make me both more sociable and flexible in my travels. This experience also will give me a completely different outlook on any country. Staying with people who live a completely different lifestyle also forces me to put into perspective the existence i’ve been accustomed to. It makes me wondering my own choices and leads me to understand that not a lot of things are either good or bad, ok or not, in this world: it’s just a matter of perspective. The biggest advantage of Couchsurfing is to meet locals. By inviting me for free into their home, they are generally expecting more than just exchanging a few words at your arrival. Talking with your hosts, getting to know them will teach you more about the country you travelled to than any tour you might join. Throughout my trip before, I learned about the Thailand history and society.
Capturing everyday life abroad is priceless. I was amazed by the diversity of our world and its people. Even in one single country,i can see how there are tons of different lifestyles. Another great thing about Couchsurfing and putting things into perspective is that it makes you realize how grateful you should always be.n no other time in my life have I met so many people and made so many new friends in such a short time. The world is full of friendly, generous people. Sure, every place has its share of nitwits too, but as a traveler, you seem much less likely to meet them. Maybe because people want to help you or maybe because you just don’t know some people long enough to uncover their schmuck-like tendencies. Since the nature of travel is to keep moving, these folks never become boring… because you simply don’t know them long enough to discover their flaws or get sick of them. Meeting people who had never left their own country (or even their village sometimes), in Indonesia or Thailand made me grateful for my travels. We tend to think that the grass is always greener on the other side, without actually giving it a try. Couchsurfing gives you the chance to experience it first hand, and will certainly bring you to the conclusion that you have plenty of things to be grateful for, in the end.
I experience a great feeling of independence from traveling solo. I can go wherever I want, whenever I want. I can sleep in. I can stay out late. It’s all up to me.
