Overview
About Me
Hi!
I am a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania who studied Art History and Comparative Literature. I am particularly interested in the literatures of the Caribbean and Latin America, but I love to read everything! I enjoy visiting art museums and galleries and discussing anything to do with love and politics. My dream is to one day be a curator and local organizer.
I grew up in between Miami and Stockholm, as I am half Swedish half Cuban (my parents met on an airplane!).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing because I am traveling Europe looking at potential graduate programs! I am hoping to visit many countries and meet people too!
I once told a man in the halal restaurant across the street from my apartment that I was studying history, and he said, "HISTORY? What are you doing in school then! You should be out in the world talking to people, asking them about their histories."
So I am also working on studying history, meeting people and growing into a good person.
Interests
Exploring new worlds!
I am also looking for someone to collaborate on a math proofs book I am working on—if anyone is interested!

I made an art gallery in my apartment this year! And I just got back from Buenos Aires, where I was interviewing some famous art collectives for a Penn professor.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Excitement about life!! I have been traveling and living with distant family and friends since I was fourteen. I am a great guest and I know how to have fun and be grateful of people's homes. Wherever I stayed, I have always been invited back, and continue to cultivate the relationships I made with the people I stayed with as a teenager and young adult. I am staying with many of them while I am in Europe, but I am looking to continue exploring new places, which is why I am on couch surfing!! (:
