About Me

My home is an hour away from Oslo by train, so it's not ideal if you want to stay close to the city center.
However, I am in Oslo several days a week, so if you are couchsurfing in Oslo, feel free to contact me if you would like a guide, or just make a new friend!

I have a twinsister, Julie (to the left in my profilepicture) https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000823123

I carry a scetchbook with my at all times, and I think my head would explode if I had no way of getting my ideas down on paper. I prefer drawing people, and that's why I love public transport and other crowded spaces, it gives me so many ideas for characters to draw.
I like to collect books that I find beautiful and unique, and I try to always look up at least one bookstore in every place I visit.
Another thing I like to explore is new tastes and dishes to fall in love with, and the weirder the better! My new favorite snack is dried seaweed, but maybe I'll find something to challenge it on my next travel?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Grew up in a bit of a bohemian family, and we hardly ever stayed at hotels on our family vacation. Instead, we would exchange our home with a family in another country. I loved it, since you came closer to the local culture and avoided the touristish stuff.
And I think that's why couchsurfing is so great, you make new friends so much easier than when staying at hotels, and you get an unique experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything from Hozier, Gabriel Rios or Lykke Li.

Books: I collect books with beautiful illustrations and pop-up books. My favorites are the iology-series and Benjamin Lacombe's books.

Movies: I like films that have beautiful visuals and that give you some food for thought. Some of my favorites are: Suckerpunch, Inception and The Illusionist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exchange year in Yorkshire combined with modelling in London an working at Abercrombie & Fitch.
It was the perfect combination of two opposites.
I lived with a lovely host family near the countryside in York, while I studied fine art at York College. It was very cosy, relaxed and typically british.
I would take the train to London for the weekends for work, and I fell in love with the city instantly.
That's why I decided to return to London for university, but first I want to travel as much as I can!
