Overview
About Me
Hello everybody! I'm a danish girl, who just stated on an art school this fall, in a city called Holbaek, Denmark. Here I live with 70 other students on a boarding school, enjoying life and making art
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have taken a couple of 'free-years' after my graduation, were I plan on to travel as much as possible! And who is the best to live with on ones travels? The locals of course! They know all about the area, what to see - what to avoid, and is the best source to learn about the culture of the place.
I have a couple of friends who both have traveled as a couch-surfer and have hosted a couch to one here in Denmark, and they only have good things to say about the arrangement. Therefore I'm very positive that the world is a wonderful place if you just take your time to explore it! :)
Interests
I'm very creative and love art. I draw and paint myself and sometimes wonder if I should take an artistic further education, but I am far from sure yet.
I have a lot of lovely friends who I spend most of my time outside work with. We have a youth-school here in Næstved, and a Youth-house were young people can meet and hang out, do studies and hold concerts or other activities. I often go there and that's how I learned about couch-surfing and the wonderful possibilities with it :)
I love nature, camping and animals, but would never say no to a good shopping in a big city or a good beer after a long day! I'm very positive and friendly and can go along well with most people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I adore music, but I could never pick a specific band or genre! There is to much to pick from... British-rock is definitely one of the favorites, as well as melancholy indie music, both foreign as well as danish. I like some pop music as well, and really like the 70-80-90's pop charts.
I really like movies, but I see far to little of them and I'm afraid I therefore have a narrowed view. I love movies like 'American beauty', 'V for Vendetta', 'Fight Club', danish comedies and all movies by Wes Anderson. But I don't say no to a good chick-flick or action trilled ones as well :)
I used to read a lot more when I was younger, but I still love to read I just tend to read ones I already have read before... Fantasies is high on my list especially Harry Potter, Narnia and stuff like The Hunger Games. But books like 'Life of Pi' also draws me in and 'The Cider House Rules' was just amazing. But real history also fascinates me, and i am very moved of books concerning World War 2 like 'Primo Levi'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been part of planning several small festivals here in Næstved though the Youth-house. I have painted a painting taller than myself at something called after-school between high-school and second education.
I'm a very stubborn person and if I first set my head at something I will do anything to obtain it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure about what I should write here, but I guess it's about my skills I have?
I'm confident in my art skills, and I'm good at reading and understanding even old texts.
I'm very positive and friendly and generally get along with people well.
I'm good a understand and (hopefully) writing English.
I know some french, but I speak it very poorly.
I would love to learn my whole life, and I love new knowledge.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share everything about my upbringing, life and culture in Denmark, and share my life philosophy. I can show my host my drawings, and if they allow it, I can draw them.
I would love to explore the city with them, and listen to their story, upbringing, culture and philosophy as well. I can share my positive mood and my humor and I would always be willing to go for a drink or cook them a Denmark styled meal :)
