Overview
About Me
I'm a freelance community artist and jewellery maker as well as volunteer coordinator for an integration network. For the last two years I've primarily been working with asylum seekers and refugee women which means I spend a lot of time learning about different cultures and meeting people from all over the world.
Being freelance means I can shift my hours around when couch-surfers are visiting if you need a tour guide!
I drink a lot of tea, like to wander new places and if I host you then you will probably end up covered in glitter at some point.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been on the site for a few years now and really enjoy having people visit - I love meeting people from different countries and get to see different sides to the city when I'm with tourists.
I've been travelling a lot in the last few years so haven't hosted anyone in a while but I've been meeting up with couchsurfers along the way and I've had a great experience with the site so far.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: favourites lean towards theatrical and punky weirdness and whatever you can dance to.
Books: big fan of silly detective novels and fantasy adventure stuff. I want to read more written by women - recommendations welcome!
Films: I'll watch pretty much anything except graphic horror. Been spoiled for choice this year in Glasgow with so many film festivals: GFF, Take One Action, SQIFF, Africa in Motion, GLITCH
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some jewellery making/craft things and I can cook a little.. would like to trade those skills for some language lessons 😊
