ABOUT ME

I’m Amy Lynn Thomas. I have the best life ever and I intend to do everything in my power to keep it that way. I have the most supportive, funny, amazing friends anyone could ask for. I consider them my family. I love to dance at all times. Music is my life force. I love animals and one day I will work with them. I never want to forget what it’s like to look at the world like a child does. I love to travel. My evil plan is to build a network of amazing friends and family all over the world. I love blowing bubbles! I don’t believe in a God. I believe and trust in myself and the good and beauty that’s inside me. I don’t intend to be rich, I intend to be happy, though I will gladly take both gifts. I have a little bit of Synesthesia and I'm proud of it! I’m scared of new food. I do a mean Scottish accent. I’m on a quest for health. I have learned to view the rough parts of life as hilarious. I think cuss words are fantastic parts of speech. I like sunlight and being outdoors. Bodies of water make me smile and laugh out loud. I’m not fashionable, I don’t wear makeup, and I like it that way. I’m a sucker for Target Lifescapes CDs. I am fully addicted to sugar as if it were cocaine. I feel that the biggest challenges in my lifetime will be to learn to stop worrying, and to learn to forgive. My favorite word is radiant. I like to capture moments of my life on film and video because I forget easily. I think it’s vitally important to talk about our lives with other people. I enjoy bringing people together to form new connections and friendships. I believe there is always a cure for everything. It just might take a lot of will and time to find it. So... that's me!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to learn. Every experience--good or bad is a learning experience. I believe anything difficult you are going through in life will eventually have a purpose as a learning experience, whether it by 2 hours or 20 years down the road.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of today, while Im writing this I have yet to have the opportunity to host or be hosted because I wasnt traveling yet. Back home, I live at my dads house to help take care of him. Because of this I am currently unable to host but I am a big fan of csing and hostels and would love to either open a hostel or host csurfers as soon as I get my own place.

I loooooove Dirty Dancing:Havana Nights. I think its better than the original. Sad but true. I went through a big lord of the rings phrase as well as harry potter, but these days I dont have much time to watch movies or read books. I do however listen to music almost constantly. My soft spots are for modern hip hop top 40 and big band and swing. But I definetly like everything except maybe heavy metal? but even that is fine in smaller doses

I see amazing things everyday. Mainly acts of human kindness and strength. It's hard to pick one amazing thing that's happened to me. Maybe the fact that a girl who grew up on food stamps and never had a family vacation is now able to travel the entire world? That's pretty amazing to me.

I like to meet learn from people who are successful and happy and contributing to make the world a better place. I admire people who are happy with their lives, rather than people who are just rich to be rich. I also admire people who can keep their cool in stressful situations. I have friends who are mothers, and it seems like with all the stress in their lives, they never once seem fazed by it. I admire their strength.
