I am an outgoing and open-minded person who is always looking to share a good laugh with anyone around me. My passion for travel started after watching a Bollywood movie called Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ). I have always loved to travel but have always been restricted due to my studies earlier and then my job. That is why I have now decided to give up everything and follow my passion for travelling.

I am very easy to adjust with as I am not all demanding when it comes to comfort and food. Moreover, the greatest gift that I have is my huge scope of interest. So whether you want to talk about computers or any sports or films or just about the world in general, I am up for it.

My previous travel history has been restricted to India but now that I am in the UK I am looking forward to exploring Europe (again something I picked up from DDLJ).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As some great mind said, "A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions". Thus here I am to gain new experiences and meet and make new friends along the way.

It seems like a fantastic platform to know new people who won't have some selfish objective behind what they are doing. It's a fantastic platform for people who love to travel and want to meet more people like them. So here I am!

Moreover, Kolkata is my home. You would hardly find people who know Kolkata as well as I do. I can help anyone trying to visit Kolkata explore the city in a way they would have never imagined.

I have been in Nottingham since 18th September 2019. I know the city fairly well by now and I have quite a few friends here as well. So you can be assured of a good time and meeting many new people.
