About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hmm, My current mission is to stay healthy, in shape and keep on exercising. Also I should get more knowledge in my field of research. However, having fun should never be neglected!

ABOUT ME

OK. All about me! That's a lot of information that I hope I know most of it myself. I am a normal easy going person. (well I hope!). I have recently finished my PhD in Sweden and started my new job in Hong Kong. In my spare time I go to gym, play video games, watch movies or hangout with friends. I like cooking and have some of my own recipes! I try to eat healthy but Burger, Pizza, coffee or chocolate never killed anyone! I am quite an organized person and try to keep things in an order. The order might look messy to other people though! :P
I enjoy all types of weather conditions except wind! I love raining in spring and colorful Autumn and white snow in winter. As a hobby I read and watch reviews about various types of new technologies. I don't drink alc that much but it's fun drinking with others.
As you can see I jump from one topic to another. I also do that when I am talking. Many things come to my mind at the same time and usually I don't get enough time to address each of them! I said "time". That's the only limiting factor for us. Otherwise, there is no limitation.

PHILOSOPHY

OK that demands hours of talking I suppose! But I'm just gonna shorten it here in few sentences.
Life is something that was given to us! How it was achieved really doesn't matter. what matters is what we do with it. I believe there is no start or an end. It is all a flow. Sometimes it's easy and peaceful but sometimes it's difficult. This just reminds me of a quote I read somewhere and I loved it... "life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain."
One more nice quote which is from Paulo Coelho. (of-course I had to Google how to write his name!!)
"If you think that adventure is dangerous, try routine; It is lethal!". Recently I was lucky enough to read a book from Alan Watts titled "the wisdom of insecurity". My view of life hasn't been the same since then. I think everyone should read it at least once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think the whole idea is so cool! You travel and with no accommodation cost you get to know different people around the globe. What is better than that?! Or you become a host and get visitors and company for free. Isn't that all amazing?!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I had few surfers. people are simply awesome no matter from which part of the world they are coming. With the help of CS I am looking forward to get to know many people and travel way more than before.

Interests

I guess I mentioned most of it in the first section. To complete those I add music which I listen to various types. Rock, Metal, Jazz, R&B, etc. They all have their own beauties and occasionally I listen to all of them!
I am also crazy about watching movies. Good movies can be very informative. You can learn a lot from some movies.
Good food and nice weather specially in nature will touch my soul!
Technology! Of any kind. It's just fascinating. No need to explain. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Inception, Memento, Her, Fight Club, The Dark night, Lucy, Edge of tomorrow, Before Sunrise, Intouchables, predestination, warrior, interstellar, Mad Max fury, ...

Music: Eye of the tiger, Nothing else matters, Shape of my heart,.... do you think I just like these master pieces?!! Nope! I also listen to local radio or top 100 songs on Spotify every day! :D
Books: unfortunately I am not that good in reading... It's just so hard and I easily fall asleep! :D Maybe one of few books that I read till the end and liked it is "The Alchemist" from Paulo Coelho. Update: I read a new book recently: "the wisdom of insecurity" by Alan Watts, This book is extraordinary!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing place that I have seen is Dubai! And the most amazing thing I've done is to travel to Hong Kong for work during the Corona virus outbreak!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I don't really know what I can teach! I am teaching genetics as an assistant in university. Maybe I can help you getting some knowledge about Genetics! :D I don't think there are that many people interested to learn this!
Learn: I would like to learn languages!! this is what I am so bad at and have to improve. But I don't think you can learn that much in few days...
Share: I can share my knowledge about new techs and those I know how to use them.
