About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Letting people know the power within themselves to achieve peacefulness and desired goals

ABOUT ME

I'm not one to say much over the web, but in person I seem to be usually quite willing to tell my life story; yet I am learning the joys of listening and the power of silence. Hmm. Training horses and flexibility with discipline has allowed me to travel to many amazing places internationally and lived in fabulous places in the US. I love anything from learning to surf in Coffs Harbor, NSW, Australia, having my breath taken away at Macchu Picchu, or feeling the presence of the mountains in Grindelwald, Switzerland. I figure 8 out of 10 times, one will be rewarded from hard work and determination, so pushing to the 10 is worth it. I love learning about the incredible ability of the mind to rewire in ways people used to say could never happen. The moments in Kung Fu and Tai Chi when the flow causes experiences unknown before. Love to laugh and learn. Love perspectives that change how I think about something. Discussing complex mind-twisting topics or playing in some physical activity until Im drenched in sweat with a big smile on my face. Well, thats a glimpse. =)

PHILOSOPHY

I guess I live by "Chance favors a prepared mind" by Pasteur. Well, I guess I believe in karma (or if it's not real, at least I use it as a template for my actions), I used to say I was in the pursuit of happiness, but now I think the better term is peacefullness. I think there is more to life than we realize, and I try to enjoy the journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. Anything that moves me! Right now-- The White Buffalo, Mumford and Sons, RJD2. I don't have a specific type of music...always open to new things. Books. Too many to count. The Dancing Wu Li Masters. The Art of Learning. Illusions. Movies. I've gotten soft in my old age. Usually comedies (yeah, admittedly usually romantic) and any type that is very well done. If I need to release some tears-- Legends of the Fall.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am not good at listing this type of stuff for people that I don't know....connect with me and ask....if you are interested.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching myself to look at life from all angles and perspectives.
Trying to figure out how to ground myself in any situation.
Try to keep drama/gossip/negativity out of my life.
Try to see difficult/hurtful situations as an opportunity to learn something/strengthen my core self.
These things sometimes are difficult, but hopefully I leave the world a slightly better place if I work at them.

And the biggest thing---fix myself and look at myself and my weaknesses/past burdens with eyes wide open. I believe one cant help others until they work on figuring themselves out first.
