Overview
About Me
I've been doing quite a bit of traveling the past few years: Spain, Netherlands, Mexico (4x), Puerto Rico, and Honduras. I just finished my Master of Public Health and would like to work with health departments in Central and South America to implement programs when possible. I work as a Business Safety Specialist at the moment as well as teach English as a second language online to students in Indonesia and China. I'd love to host you and show you a bit about my small city! Canton is known for the Football Hall of Fame as well as a bike path that extends for over 100 miles. Not too far from Cleveland (about and hour) and I love learning about new cultures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel, I am looking for people who are willing to show me some fun things, teach me about their city/town, and be personable. Eventually I would like to live abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really just listen to the radio at home, I've been reading the American Journal of Public Health most of the time to keep up with things going on in the world, and as for movies....I like more fun and upbeat things. I try to stay away from anything terrifying or anything that makes me jump
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent three weeks in a remote area of Honduras creating a video for a local bilingual school and helping in a hospital. I watched a 10 year old with a broken femur endure the pain, move himself onto the operating table without saying a word. The strength of the people there is amazing!
