Hello! My name is Amanda - I am an opera singer frequently traveling for work, art exploration, adventure and connection; hopefully branching out more into Europe (as much as one can these days) Fully vaccinated and boosted!

I am still exploring/new to utilizing the official Couchsurfing platform but I have couch surfed across the world via friends-of-friends and penpals - Milan, Prague, Hagen (Germany), Lucca, Chicago, New York, Santa Fe, the list goes on and on - connecting with new people and being a part of their journey is a huge blessing and joy for me :)

I love to meet new people and be a part of their life when I travel - it's very exciting to learn about a new place from a native. I am particularly eager to experience the food culture of wherever I find myself traveling and it's fun to taste the special twist that each host takes on a traditional dish or to learn long as they follow a recipe their grandma passed down.
