In 2012, I dropped everything in Atlanta to pursue a degree in the UK. I'm now pursuing a career as a writer, and am attempting to take full advantage of this independence to experience as many new places as possible.

I'm an avid reader, semi-prolific writer, and probably watch too much TV.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, but going on my own gets lonely, and there's a level of uncertainty that comes with entering a new place with no connections. I'm hoping to meet new people to enjoy unfamiliar places with.

Music, Movies, and Books

A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones, Chuck Palahniuk, Neil Gaiman, Anne Rice, Anne McCaffery, Douglas Adams, all things Harry Potter, Lev Grossman, Michael Crichton, and most science fiction and fantasy I happen to pick up.

I'll watch most genres of films and TV, but some of my current favorites are Game of Thrones, Black Mirror, American Horror Story, Westworld, The Handmaid's Tale, Orphan Black, The Twilight Zone, Penny Dreadful, The Americans, Stranger Things, Preacher, The Magicians, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and many others.

I enjoy most rock music, especially just about every genre of metal, and am very open to listening to new artists of all genres.
