🌍 🇰🇪
Hi! My name is Amanda and I’m 29 years old.
I was born in Brazil and I’m half Italian. I’ve lived in South Italy in 2018 and I currently live in London since 2020.
My main language is Portuguese and I’m also fluent in English. I speak Italian and Spanish and I’m always learning new expressions from every country I visit. I’ve been to 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇨🇦🇪🇸🇩🇰🇦🇷🇭🇺🇵🇹🇫🇷🇦🇹🇰🇪🇧🇷🇮🇹 so far and I plan for this number only to grow (not only in quantity but in quality).
Best thing about travelling, in my opinion, is getting the life experiences that we don’t learn in books or in daily life and making friends for a life time! Getting to know other travellers, hearing about their stories and accomplishments, getting to share a bit of mine, knowing about the history from the places I visit especially through locals and getting immersed in that culture I’m in is simply incredible.
I’m graduated in Psychology and did a post graduation in Social Psychology and Anthropology during the pandemic. I work mostly with children and I love what I do. Since I’m a self employed, I take time off to go travelling whenever I can.
I consider myself an ambivert, but I’m an extrovert most of the time. I love chatting, being in groups, but I also appreciate time for myself. I’m a solo traveller, and I think the beauty of it is that even though we seek our path solo, we’re never alone. We are a big community and we re encounter our fellow travellers lots of times in this lifetime. ✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is not Tinder. I think I need to make this clear from the beggining, there are other apps for that matter. I’m here to make friends and to have significant connections with human beings from different backgrounds. Teaching, learning, exchanging experiences.. I also love learning from people who have been travelling for a while.

Teach, Learn, Share
I would love helping with languages and also learning a bit of yours. I could teach my mother tongue and practising conversations in the languages I know. Sharing about cultural experiences is something I really appreciate doing.
