Living in Orlando, my boyfriend and I treat every weekend as a vacation. We keep a list of places to go to, restaurants to try, breweries to sample, and events to join in on. We try to regularly experience things out of our comfort zone. If it sounds weird, we're in!

I'm a Graphic Designer and he's an Air Quality Assessor. We've been together a little over 2 years and it's been the most fun 2 years I think I've ever had. He's super outgoing and funny, while I'm a little more grounded and reserved, but we both are spontaneous and tend to go with the flow in life. He plays bass in a local band and I, somewhat shamefully, spend a lot of my free time binge watching movies and shows on Netflix and Hulu.

My boyfriend and I love to meet new people. I also have a friend who is regularly on here and she has met some super awesome people.

Interests

Being a graphic designer, I'm obviously pretty into art and design, and there's a killer local scene for it here. So many talented people in Orlando. I also love the beach, concerts, coffee in the mornings, libations in the evenings, and hanging out anywhere that has a laid back vibe. I am quite the animal lover and have one cat (for now).

I love the idea of traveling, but admit I have done extremely little of it. I grew up in Florida, and while I've bounced around to a few different cities, I've never lived outside of here. I'd love to visit Europe, Australia, Chile, and Japan, but unfortunately my fears have kept me grounded. Thankfully Orlando is extremely culturally diverse, so while I know it's not the real deal, sometimes it can feel pretty darn close.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes vary based on my mood and environment.

Generally when I'm just sitting on the couch on a lazy Saturday morning, I enjoy laid-back tunes like Silversun Pickups, the 1975, the Hush Sound, Meg & Dia, etc.

When it come to concerts however, I love the energy of a hardcore show and have seen and loved Our Last Night, August Burns Red, A Day to Remember and others of that genre.

On a night out, I tend to prefer upbeat music like electronic or hip-hop.

As far as movies go, I tend to favor comedies over anything.

I don't read much, but I'm interested in changing that. Any suggestions? I'd prefer something that'll make me laugh or teach me something.
