About Me

I have a funny looking scar from a jellyfish sting I got in Mallorca on my leg

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm back in the States now and am looking to return all the wonderful favors afforded to me while I was away. Couch surfing is such a wonderful community and I'm looking forward to meeting other travelers!

•••2015 trip•••
I'm traveling around Europe a bit and would much rather spend time in the homes of locals than a hostel as I believe it would make the experience much more rewarding! At the time I'm writing this I'm sitting in the home of the family I'm staying with in Spain. I've only been able to find places to stay by word of mouth which is wonderful but will prove difficult when I'm on the move more frequently.

Interests

I really enjoy hiking and climbing and riding my bike. I work at a local animal hospital as a veterinary assistant in the suburbs. I'm really interested in philosophy and being that cliche at a coffee house. I want to dancing in every city I visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My friend and I were hiking to a statue of Jesus that over looked the town we were staying in. I ended up losing her during sunset and running down a mountain trying to beat the light. After about an hour of wandering I heard a goat's bell and he led me to a road. By this time it was pitch black and a main road, I sprinted back to town and nearly hit the ground when I saw the "Welcome to Esporles" sign.

Moral of the story: Follow the animals home.

This doesn't really count as amazing but it's surely the most amazement I've experienced so far.
