About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet interesting people and helping them travel the world.
ABOUT ME
Funny and kind, quiet at first but I open up after a little while.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate to meet new people and have a cultural exchange. I'm hosting at the moment but planning to travel to Iceland, Belgium, and Ireland Sept/Oct 2018. I'm looking to make contacts and maybe even stay with the people I've hosted.
I DON'T HOST LOCALS, I usually only host foreign surfers but will consider hosting people from neighboring States if they have a good reason to visit Portland (ie not bachelorette parties, concerts, pot parties or thinking about moving here). I usually only host on the weekend as I work really long hours and access to my apartment is difficult when I am not home due to security.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've both stayed and hosted and really enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places. I have even hosted fellow couchsurfers I met while traveling in Germany.

Anything really. Not fond of major sports or hard rock but other than that I am willing to try anything once.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like historical fiction books, especially ones that intertwine art history into the story line. I don't have a TV but I do stream videos; I love historical and nature documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Redwood forest in northern California is mystical. You'll want to just sit in the stillness and soak it all in.
I also really loved swimming...yes swimming in the Blue Grotto in Capri, Italy. Totally illegal but safe as long as you know what you are doing and respect nature.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a renaissance women. I cook, sew, create art, read a lot and enjoy talking and teaching about many subjects.
