My name is Amanda and I grew up in the countryside of Montana in the USA but moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2012. I prefer spending my time in nature versus the city but am slowing learning that metropolitan areas are beautiful in their own way. I love both mountains and beaches so my ideal place has both! I have a Shiba Inu dog named Kazumi and we spending a lot of our time hiking around LV. As of October 2023, I've relocated to Arizona.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a solo traveler and have found some amazing people on this site! I am more interested in meeting up than being hosted/hosting but one day that might change. I love meeting other travelers and it seems like people from CS are usually backpackers like myself so have more unique experiences. I also enjoy getting to know a city/country from a locals perspective. I like to see the main sites, but prefer to spend the bulk of my time as authentically as possible.
