*New to couch surfing!
I just finished a semester abroad in Stirling, Scotland and am spending my summer backpacking through Europe before I head back to the University of Wyoming to start Nursing School in the fall. I'll be starting my third year of college and am studying nursing and psychology. I'm super new to traveling, but have loved every second of it so far! Some unique things about me: I'm in a sorority, I ran track for UW, and I really, really love cats (and just all animals really). Some of my future goals are: learning new languages, skydiving, completing a half marathon and then eventually a marathon, starting a career as a trauma travel nurse, and traveling the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm brand new to this, but I think couch surfing will be a great way to meet local's and see a city from their perspective. I absolutely love meeting new people and trying new things, and am interested in the experiences I can gain from taking part in this community. I'm hoping from this opportunity I can not only learn more about myself, but also about other people and their culture.

Aside from traveling, some of my interests include: working out, reading, playing sports, listening to music, cooking and baking, crafting, going to concerts, exploring, hiking, attempting yoga, and just being outside.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I'll pretty mush listen to anything! But to give you a better idea these are the artists I've seen in concert: Philip Phillips, John Mayer, Andy Grammer, Craig Morgan, Eric Hutchinson, The Lumineers, Milky Chance, Walk the Moon, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Kip Moore, Maddie and Tae, Canaan Smith, Of Monsters and Men, Chase Rice, Josh Turner, and I'm going to be seeing Mumford and Sons at the end of June :)
As far as movies I love comedy and horror, but will watch anything because I really enjoy watching movies!
When it comes to reading I have a wide range of books I like to read! Some of my favorites are: Gone Girl, A Fault in our Stars, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, the Divergent series, and Gone with the Wind.

I can answer almost any question you have about Wyoming, New Mexico, living in a sorority, or just America in general! I'm pretty much an open book, and love sharing my stories (I have some interesting ones from working in a hospital) just as much as I like hearing others :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge about America, sororities, my home states, and a love for learning new things and exploring new places. I also make a mean tray of brownies and would love to cook dinner one night!
