About Me

I'm from Brazil and have a degree on Translation and Interpretation. That's on the records.

As of 2017, after saving up money, I took on to do two of some of my favorite things in life, which are traveling and drawing/painting (here's my portfolio in case you are wondering http://cargocollective.com/amandaobara).

I've been in Berlin taking a course on fine arts and spending most of my time drawing, painting, creating and experimenting. Now I'm on a three-month break traveling around the Balkans. My first stop was Zagreb where I stayed for a ten days and did two wall paintings in exchange for accommodation and food.

Now I'm off to the coast to stroll along Croatia and go through Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania. I have three months and four countries. I'm not on a rush :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've joined Couchsurfing for the reasons everyone else have, but also because I don't want to rush myself through the Balkans and not experience some aspects of the life and place where I'm at, what a one- or two-day visit wouldn't allow me to do :)
