About Me

I'm about to graduate from college and I want to travel the world before settling down at a desk job. Hopefully, I find a way to sustain my love for travel and learning about the world's cultures and I never have to settle into a cubicle. I love being outdoors in the fresh open air, camping, hiking, swimming, sports, picnicking, you name it. The mountains are calling and I must go... [Muir]

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling on a budget is much easier with open-minded couch surfers! I am a huge believer in solo-travel because of the ability to meet and make new friends. Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to bring people together!

To all the hosts: Thank you for being open-mined and brave enough to open your home to all of the surfers out there. So many people believe they cannot travel because of money. By eliminating the costs of accommodations, you are letting so many people live out their dreams. :)
I want to be the person who books spontaneous weekend trips, but still do them frugally. Who would want to spend $100+ on a hotel to not speak to anyone?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In August 2015, I got to travel to Seattle, WA and meet up with 11 strangers and spend a week backpacking/hiking/camping in Mt. Rainier National Park.

It was an unbelievable experience, learning about the ecology of the park, conservation, protection, and building life-long friendships.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach you about photography or product design! Anything from the super basics of your smart phone camera or your full functioning DSLR.

I'm a passionate learner and would love to listen and observe any of your passions. Passion is so amazing and can turn any hobby into a fascinating one that I'd be interested in learning.

The more I travel, the more stories and photographs I can share! I'd be glad to share some of my jokes and embarrassing stories with you too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am more than willing to help around the house. If you have errands that you need help with, I'd be glad to lend a hand.

I'll bring in a lot of corny jokes and puns, some photography, cooking assistance, and lots of cool and embarrassing stories.
