About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world. Meet great people. Seize every opportunity. Help people whenever I can. Live life to the fullest.

ABOUT ME

I'm a Social Work grad student living in Rio de Janeiro since 2015. I'm an intern at a Social Security office and on the weekends I volunteer as an English teacher in a NGO. I'm a vegetarian and have an obsession with elephants. I'm returning to the Couchsurfing world although I've never surfed nor hosted before. I hope to meet new people and explore this place thoroughly!

I'm very easygoing, enthusiastic about the world and I love a good laugh!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to spand my frontiers/horizon, share experiences and meet people from different cultures by engaging in the Couchsurfing comunity.

Interests

I love traveling, going to the beach and being in the sun. I also love cold weather, a good book and some hot chocolate haha. I adore my family and spending time with them. I like walking to places and being outdoors. I love movies, music and dancing, hanging out with friends and sharing a good laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I can listen to (almost) everything, R&B and Rap are probably my favorite. I can't name a favorite movie (there are so many!) but I can say I'm a fan of Drama and Documentaries. I'm obsessed with Chimamanda Adichie and right now I'm reading everything I can involving my graduate thesis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a part of a life changing educational project as a volunteer in a NGO is definitely a highlight in my life. Going on an interchange program in Frankfurt and living with a German host family was also very important to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning about other people's experiences not only in traveling but in their lives, everyone has an interesting story to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be glad to share some brazilian dessert recipes (like brigadeiro and pudim de leite) and bring them some sweets and souvenirs from Rio!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Sweden, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
