About Me
My name is Amanda, I am not very good with online stuff, but I am trying. So bare with me since I don't really even know what to say here. I like reading and learning new things, volunteer, love animals and nature and aspire to change the world :) I do not drink but I love going out dancing. I'm a pretty open book... I am clean and organized with a lot of dreams and aspirations of what to do with my life and I think traveling is what I am missing in my life and will help me find my place in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am very interested in traveling and meeting new people. Getting the chance to learn and experience new things. I have not yet really traveled, so this is all new and I feel I'd rather get to experience new places and or get info on the area from people I may stay with rather than staying in a resort. I like the idea of connecting with people and hearing about there travels as well. Maybe finding inspiration to see new places and try new things.
Interests
I am interested in the beach, love swimming and being in the sun. I enjoy hiking though I have bad ankles. Yoga and meditation. Tattoos. I try to use organic clean living, it is a newer endeavour over the past year. Attending festivals.
Music, Movies, and Books
I tend to enjoy most music though I'm sure I haven't heard even close to all the different kinds.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Mexico twice and it was one of the best experience of my life, once to a resort with my late husband, second time alone and went backpacking, couch surfing, snorkeling with turtles, and staying in hostel, meeting and having adventures with many different people.
Early 2018 I got to enjoy backpacking two weeks in Nepal then two weeks in GOA. Seen beautiful temples, bat caves, hiked the Peace Pagoda, held cobras with a snake charmer. I can’t wait to continue my adventures.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an artist and would love to learn Spanish, I took some in school but it didn't really stick. I am interested in learning about permaculture and fire spinning.
