Overview
About Me
I'm 25 and just finished teaching English in South Korea for 2 years.
I love pushing myself outside my comfort zone and facing my fears and the unknown head on. I can be a bit shy at first, but being more outgoing is something I have been working on of late.
I enjoy a good night out partying and dancing or listening to live music. I usually have to follow this up with a few days relaxing or chilling out to re-energize.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and have always had the best experiences and memories when I was able to meet with locals. From going to hidden gems off the beaten track to adventures around their city. I love being able to learn more about a culture and city from the people living there. I am always striving to better myself, and the best way to do this is challenge your expectations and opinions by meeting, talking, and debating with people from all walks of life. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to do this!
I will be backpacking solo for a 3-4 months, and it's nice to know when you land in a new country that there will be a friendly face waiting.
Also, once I'm settled I hope to pay it forward and share my place and show people the wonders of California! ^^

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm not a huge music buff and my taste varies, but I probably listen the most to Alternative Rock (Arctic Monkeys, Sublime, Green Day) and enjoy folk, indie, a bit of K-pop, and Spanish music and always love a good Pop song. (There is nothing more enjoyable than belting out a Adele song with your friends in the car or on a night out)
Movies/TV: I love comedies (Broad City, parks & rec, the office, 30 rock, the Daily Show), and love sci-fi and fantasy (Game of Thrones, Dr. Who, , basically every superhero show and movie), and love a good Netflix Binge (Orange is the New Black)
Books: I usually read fiction, ranging from the classics, fantasy, and have recently rediscovered my love of thrillers and mysteries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Conquered my fear of heights bungee jumping 233m in Macao.
